Gotta resist the temptation to read ahead, lol

Vina • 2 years ago

I'd rather wait till the anime is finished first, so many anime I read and then the monthly wait was killing me lol (most of them at least)

Xyrus • 2 years ago

Raika • 2 years ago

Essay - Kun • 1 year ago

Ikr but that has it's own fun .
Coming back to the episode :

~ This gives me a feel from ' Another '
Yep. You guessed it right. One of the people on the island is dead who's behind all this maybe.
Just a hunch.

~ Did someone notice that when the OP ends, He shoots himself. Does that imply this will all be over when he kills himself ?

5:59 I went back to see if they showed the cut brake wire it in the 1st episode, but they didn't.

~ Oh so they did Mio's shadow and I didn't notice it thinking she's the same person but I did find the policeman fishy.
So a shadow after being witnessed kills the person and generates another shadow which is of that person.

~ So the flash at the funeral earlier means someone was killed right there and then.

~ Lol that policeman's shadow acting like an idiot. Who would've thought? xD

~ I think he's protected by something, Ushio gave him in the beginning.

18:58 Well he noticed it fast xD #Sarcasm.

AnimeFan#1:LolGamerRo • 1 year ago

Checkmate I only started watching this today bcs of Gigguk so now I can binge!

What intrigued me was when Mio's shadow said, "this is not America" in context of one hearing gun shots in residential areas...lol, nice stereo joke.

Kunare • 1 year ago

Well I guess I live in America. Gun shots every night and deaths every 2 days. This week alone 3 people from one family all killed. All Shot on different days at night.

Jesus... Texas?

Emil • 1 year ago

that doesn't happen in Texas.

Florida?

clowread • 1 year ago

yeah, in texas they just killed dozens of innocent children at school.

Gotta be Ohio lol

yoyogamer • 1 year ago

where are you speaking of i dont believe it send news sources

Vlad • 1 year ago

I grew up in Germany, and saw a guy shooting into the air with a real gun.
I found spent cartridges on two occasions as a kid and neither of them were probably the result of legal activities...

yeah definitely stereotype. i have lived my whole life and never heard a gunshot in the city. there are probably area in America that shooting is common but its is the same as other places. shootings are not as common as the media likes to portray it and even in broad daylight people WILL take notice and panic. people aren't so cold and desensitized to guns as they think. i live in an area where war veterans and solders retire to. and gun laws are rather lax here. its just a Japanese stereotype that we Americans almost fetishize guns. which is far from the case.

Lucio Yuen • 1 year ago

202 mass shootings in America just in 2022 compared to 7 in the entire Asia continent, hell someone just shot up a supermarket in Buffalo last week

and did people just sit there and the vicinity and act like it was nothing as if it was "just another everyday occurrence nothing to see here" as the stereotype they pitched in this episode? no people did not just sit there and act like everything was fine. thus it is a stereotype. just as japanese would panic if they heard gunshots so do people in america unless its at a shooting range. now can we be civil and not pull politics into this and just agree that this is a stereotype and leave it at that. i do NOT want this section to be filled with political bullshit that does nothing but fill the comment section with negativity.

Jmdegroot • 1 year ago

yeah you're just fucking wrong on this one bud. america is known for terrible gun control.

Yank • 1 year ago

More like America is known for its awesome gun control (being no gun control because that shit is gay lol lmao)

Yank • 1 year ago

"mass shooting" is a fake term also we would have the lowest gun crime in the world if it weren't for black people

Supar_Hack_r • 1 year ago

I don’t know how to tell you that I literally went to the mall in one of the biggest cities in Florida the other day and there was a small scale shooting and I heard two gunshots, which doesn’t even get much media coverage except locally. It is most definitely more than the media portrays it, idk what you’re on about. They can’t just make up shooting incidents to report, and you also have to take into consideration that some small scale shootings aren’t even widely reported, if at all.

MikasaAckerman • 1 year ago

well gun rules are very lax here so i mean i dont blame them. green street in illinois (where i am rn) itself has shootings happening specifically against coloured races

Gold Light • 1 year ago

I live on the Canada/USA border and hear gunshots over in the US every now and then. I know it's not going to be everywhere. But it became a stereotype for a reason.

I mean there is always some base for rumours and stereo, i am not saying this happens in America or not, as i don't live there. I was just mesmerized by that comedy element.

MC:*my spider cense are tingling*

Definitely a great show

Testarossa • 1 year ago

Man I love the ending them using the real life film it kinda feels nostalgic the ocean view is perfect when I visit islands or have a trip that is literally the skies they look exactly the same and the mountains I like animes sometimes add these in , like wait I forgot but the anime almost looked like Bakemonogatari I think it was Fireworks maybe not or some other I recently rewatch it was a movie or maybe your name

1st ep was great but not so sure on this ep2. MC isn't as smart as portrayed to be. The part when he was brought back on the boat the first time, he associated it with deja vu fair enough. But when mio came and fell into the sea, he should be certain this isn't deja vu anymore especially even after the funeral. Instead of getting more intel from his friend and mio on the get go, he continues to be dazed and spent the day repeating cooking curry for dinner. Never changing the flow much, got caught and killed like a dog. The second time he came back it was straight to the pier, at this point prolly ushio was shaking her head and decided to skip the boat scene altogether lmao.

Still a great series and i'm happy when he came back the 2nd time and took all the precautions like saving the policeman, making space for phone and putting it on silent, the idea of recording the shadow and presenting it as evidence to mio. Will definitely continue to watch :)

Jacman99 • 2 years ago

I mean, I understand him and how he reacted. If this happened to you, you’d also think that you had a super realistic dream. You wouldn’t think you just lived, died and respawned, even after he seeing Mio fall into the sea again

I think the protagonist is smarter than you think, we just haven’t had a chance to see him use his brain to think properly on the scenario. If you recall from episode 1, when they’re out in the forest and Ushio starts thinking, Mio was all like, “there it is!! The Ushio thinking cap is on!” Give it a few episodes and I’m sure he’ll change your opinion

I get what you mean, prolly i just love MCs who are really smart. That is very attractive to me. Yes i definitely will continue this series. Thanks :)

Jacman99 • 1 year ago

I will add another thing. However, it's a spoiler if you haven't yet seen episode 3 so I'll add a spoiler tag for EP. 3.
I've came up with a new theory that Shin has two personalities. In case you haven't noticed, Shin has a voice in his head that talks to him, who seems to have a completely different personality than the Shin whom you believe does not seem smart. I feel like this second Shin has a more calculating personality that's able to think under pressure, unlike the current Shin. To see what I mean, you can see this at 14:40 on episode 3.

gd observation hehe

Crow ツ • 1 year ago

I love it that the moment Selena Ng ✔️ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ posted that she finds "the smart MC`s attractive" you began to "add another thing" and "new theory" :D .

Jacman99 • 1 year ago

Thanks, that's a good thing right
